Originally had the problem where my friend had the 'Update failed' message on the most recent build, but he's managed to fix that. Although now he can play the most recent build (singleplayer) he can't join my server. My server is also on the most recent build, as is my launcher, and i can join perfectly fine... The error message he get's is the simple 'End of Stream', and in the terminal I just get told his IP has lost connection. He's occasionally got Error:505 but I don't think this is a major issue because it's a rarer message to come up. Also sometimes (most of the time) on the 'Logging in' screen when joining the server it crashes and he has to force quit the program. Help please Thanks EDIT: Also he has to download the update every time he launches the tekkit client
