  1. Whenever I try to connect to the server it gives me this: " Disconnected by server Please join on 8/13/2012 for our public opening!"
  2. Can someone PLEASE explain my problem of not being allowed to connect until the server's supposed public opening on Monday?!?
  3. What I would recommend and what I would do if I could is build a solid computer as a dedicated server and then port forward it on your router. This would reduce long term cost though have a high initial cost, give you full customization, and give you a sweet gaming rig that you can use at the same time if you build it good enough! Edit: This can easily be done for about $600-750 US.
  4. I understand that whatever your fixing on the server might have to do with this but why does the server not allow me to connect and say to join on the public opening on Monday?
  5. Please explain if otherwise, But... I think you guys are missing the whole point of what I'm saying about bringing back electric engines... I want an engine that won't explode at all and that still has decent power output. The electric engine fits that perfectly unlike any other engine I know of (I think...).

Yes, EU can be converted to be able to power buildcraft engines, But... sometimes for complicated refinery setups and reactor cooling systems and other things, that I don't feel like making a list of right now, I (or we) need engines that can easily be powered by EU or solar panels for mobile operations that don't overheat or have the chance of exploding at all and I'm sure you can figure out why...
  7. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but last I recall I believe the Forestry mod was removed in the most recent update. I don't really care whether the mod is included in the Tekkit mod pack or not but in previous version I thought it was nice to have electric engines that were powered by IC2 eu/t and wouldn't overheat and such. If possible, I think it would be great if the developers or someone else could develop a patch that included those engines but only those engines as they were very useful (as I'm sure others would agree). Thank you.
  8. I don't know very much about fixing problems such as these but considering how a lot of the Technic Pack is relying on Java 7 try updating your java to that...

  10. I can't get anything to work (I did try the PermissionsEx thingy) and 2.1 has screwed it up to where it can't even start the server. Backdating to 2.0 doesn't help either because it loads nothing but the original Tekkit plugins. Anyone else have an idea (and thanks for all the recommendations so far)?
  11. I have tried to use the permissions and I have also tried multiple different builds of Multiverse but in the console window it always says that it failed to load it. Even after that I have tried to use the commands but they dont work. It just talks about no such command and I have also found that no other commands work either. I have no idea what's wrong. :-\
  12. Sorry about the lack of detail... The server is completely stock except for I modified the launch.bat for my computer and I have tried to add Multiverse. The computer has a Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo T6400, 3GBs of RAM, and runs Windows Vista. I have tried every method I have found or thought of to try and make it work but Multiverse won't load. Please tell me if you need any other information.
  13. I have been trying to set up a Tekkit server for me and my friends but can't get Multiverse to work no matter what I do... If someone can help that would be great. Also, please post any questions that you have that could possibly help. Thank you.
