Nevermind- had a mind to check the site again and the link to the Java install is right above the technicLauncher link so I went ahead and reinstalled Java 64bit and it runs now.

I had nothing else open at the time and like I said this is the first time trying to open the launcher so there is no menu to click options on, just what you see on the screen shot. Thanks for trying though. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Running TechnicLauncher.exe for the first time. Once the status bar is completely green (100%) I get an error message and can't continue. Here is a pic of it in action (txt doc is what is in the "details" of the error message.) Note: this pic was taken of a second attempt and the same error comes up though the Launcher's status bar is empty.
