My technic launcher just opens the thing i want to open normally, but then the window of the thing just imedeately closes! im on mac version 10.7.4 btw

Can someone please please please help me! when i open my Techniclancher and select Tekkit my tekkit opens and then it closes! it is veeeeery weird so please help me!
