FIX i deleted tekkitfolder completely and started tekkit again and (all my worlds gone but) it works again! -

launcher/pack version:1.0.1.3 operating system:64-bit version of java: java 7 update 4 description of problem: when i try to play tekkit single player, world loads, shows screen for half a second, then says "saving chunks" then white screens. i have made numerous worlds then had to delete them because of this error and all times I've tried to make a new world same problem. i also think it's worth noting that when i try to join a server it says:internal exception: java.net.socketException:software caused connection abort: recv failed and this is for every server too. error messages:(single player)= white screen.
