tekkit does use some more CPU, but im not sure how much. if this is for your kids, i guess your making a home-private server so you wont need to use much RAM/CPU unless you have 15 kids. you can use the same setting as you did with bukkit, and you can also rename the .jar file to launge it from you prefered way. these things arn't the problem when switching over from bukkit to tekkit. the problem is that you may still have a vanilla world. so you cant play most of the mods in tekkit because there are no tekkit items in this world. so if your kids have an nice world wich they would like to keep i suggest making a seccond server for tekkit and keep the bukkit one for the old world. just dont run them at the same time or dont have them on the same port.

if you want a local server for your network only, make sure your connfig its ip line looks like this: server-ip=192.168.XXX if you want a public server to wich other poeple can connect, leave this line empty. server-ip=

true, but most people dont understand the nocheat config. its quite hard to edit properly. and i know that disabling is only setting true to fals but even then tehre are some dumbasses wich dont get it. and oreobfruscator cant be run at laggy servers. and tekkit allready is quite resourse demanding. i may add a fully edited config for nocheat+ wich people can download and use at will. other people seem to disargree with you. and besides, did you hear about "own opinion"? everyone has a diffirent opinion about a server spawn. most people would argree with me. you dont, so i respect that as a fact. i hope you can understand this and go your own way at your server spawn. i will remove it since it is outdated. when i wrote this there wasnt any word about a hacking client for tekkit yet.

do you know how to install a plugin? probebly not, otherwise you wouldnt get this. ill explain what you will need to do: download the plugin put all .jar files into the plugins folder run the server and shut it down. open the "permissionsEX" folder, wich should have generated open permissions.yml write your nodes profit now, if this doesnt work go to either the bug boerd or the bukkit forums. and i aspect you to calm down and never ever write stuff as anymore. you should have said this:

the biggest problem is that nocheat registrates buildcraft, redpower, industrialcraft and all other mods as a player. so for example: a buildcraft quarry. it places the frames, far away from the quarry itself. this overcomes the maximum reach of a player. so the player [buildcraft] is placing blocks further away then its allowed and uses reach hacks. so if we somehow could manage to let the "mod players" override all plugins, it would fix all problems you will have with this. i think im going to ask around a bit if they can make the mods register as a pkugin instead of a player.

if you want people to be able to raid on your server you may want to get multiworld to create a world for your spawn only so it has less chance to be griefed and it will allow you make backups easier. set a small border at the spawn world using worldborder

im trying to get the Q. chestplate blocked with recipemanager, but it wont work. i havnt found any way to block off recipes AT ALL. the anti-craft plugins dont work for tekkit items. when i make progress on recipemanager i will contact you. good luck w/ your server!!

hey i want to open the itemArmorQuantumSuit.class file in the ic2.zip but i cant seem to open it. i tried to open it with notepad++ and eclipse but it wont work. i know that i need to use a decompiler to open a downloaded .jar file but how do i open a .class file? i want to completely remove the quantum chestplate.

modifyworld has the same features as this plugin + more. the only reason that this may be usefull is because it has a nowear and nocraft. modifyworld has a nocraft function as well but it only works for vanilla items.

the world got generated by Multiverse. but when i regenerated it in tekkit 3.1.1 it was fixed, thanks for this tool though.
