Right, I don't know what I'm talking about, this is only what I've heard.

Apparently, the Technic team doesn't have full permission from all of the mod creators, and both a lot of creators, and a lot of famous minecrafters are against that. They've been downplaying Technic, and doing their best to lower it's status. Personally, I agree that they should get all of the permission they require, but I don't care enough to stop using the launcher. Sengir though, he really hates the pack, so much that if you have the launcher installed, forestry will crash on you, even if it's not activated via the launcher (though this is just what I've heard).

Iron chests are useless? They're great! You can put chests next to each other now, and you can make something the alchemical chest with less hassle. I love iron chests. Also, Balkon's was a bit OP. A blunderbuss could dominate someone, even if they had quantum/ red matter armor. Crafting table III can actually build things further down the crafting line. Example: You have the supplies to make a wooden gear, and the supplies to upgrade it up to a diamond gear. You don't have to click wood gear, then stone gear, then iron gear, etc. etc., you can go straight to diamond gear.

I understand that only stable mods are being used right now, but I would really like to see Buildcraft 3.X and Logistic pipes. Pneumatic tubes just don't compare to the amizingness that are logistic pipes. There are other mods that I'd like to see, but these two are highest on my list (also, maybe BC additional objects?). Are these coming by any chance?

Experience with Tekkit? : I'm set with buildcraft and equivilant exchange, I can do up to tier 2 in ic2, and I can get up farms in forestry. There are few things I need to look up (I don't use ic2 past rotary macerator/induction furnace for the most part). I'm trying to resolve a block id conflict. I figure that mojang wouldnt upgrade the amount of block ids without adding the ability to change them. Does anyone know how to adjust block ids?

Lots of items refuse to be deleted. Anyone know how to get rid of them?
