Equivalent Exchange - Swiftwolf's rendering ring essentials problem?

I'm having the same problem as this and so is a few of my friends. We can sometime get it to work, but mostly not. Works fine in Single player. Anyone have any ideas? Java 7, 64bit Update - It only seems to work when someone is in creative mode and online.
