  1. ok i have been able to replicate it in ssp. basically everything was working fine but it failed once i switched the sortig machine colours ie pink - stone orange - rubber while running switch over the colours so pink = rubber orange = stone this then fails and to fix it you have to brake the sorter and replace it will remain failed even if you swopped the colours back
  2. Im not feeding the sorted with redstone just the transposer, and im using a transposer as a filler will only move full stacks, i prefer to move single items for now. the left hand chest is a temp fix for the rubber wood to goto to prevent the sorting machine input pipe blocking up. im not sure what you means by unid'd ?
  3. here you can see the red and pink tubes into chests here you can see the items in the machine and there colours. as i said they all work except the rubber wood which blocks the input tube to the sorting machine. this is the inout, so a timer operating a transposer feeding the sorting machine to the right is the output, the left is a restricion pipe which feeds a chest this prevents the pipe blocking.
  4. give me a few mins and ill add a url with some pics
  5. there are 2 rubber types yes the type that it in the large rubber tress 3x3 ones works fine but the other does not, but if it was a bug i would expect it to show in ssp too which it does not and works fine on that. Ill add it to the red power minecraft forums and see what happens. Thanks for your help
  6. Yes im using pink for the output and that feeds a pink pipe just before a gold chest the chest is less than half full i will add i have 4 other items going through the sorting machine and there all working fine
  7. Hi all, im posting here as i cant seem to find a red power 2 forum of any sort so im asking for your help. basically im having a problem where my sorting machine blocks the pipe feeding it when rubber wood or rubber (balls) try to be sorted. I have got around it for now using a restiction pipe and feeding them off manually but im interested why the sorting machine wont work with rubber. I have tested this on SSP and it works ok so i can only assume its a server side issue but not sure where start to look to resolve it. (yes im the server owner hosted on a linux box) Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help Regards Tradari
  8. Thanks for the post on factions i was wondering on that i found a fix myself by setting "territoryPainBuild": true, "territoryPainBuildWhenOffline": true, "actionDeniedPainAmount": 5, this way when a player attacks aothers land after 2 block breaks they are dead :)
  9. Technic is a single player mod Tekkit is multiplayer they dont connect to each other
  10. This could be a problem we had with our server - Thanks to Rommels on our server we found an answer via another forum We needed to go into the mods folder and rename the redpower to read ARedpower that way the server loaded redpower before computercraft this then fixed red power working with computers Edit 22.48 11 march - just re downloaded tekkit 2.1.1 Mod folder now has all mods perfixed with numbers that fixes this issue (windows only i think) Important Note On linux (ubuntu 11.10) the number prefixes didnt help i had to remove all the prefixes and use the ARedpower to get the parts working.
  11. sorted it, for some reason after a reboot arrows appeared but at the top cheers for the help anyway not sure why it did it (windows.....)
  12. no arrow on the Batbox,MFE or the MFSU
  13. I have one issue which i think might be client side not 100% Server = Linux (ubuntu 11.10) Client = Windows 7 running Tekkit 2.1 Java V7 All the power storage devices show a recipie for the cart to make them ie Batbox = needed materials batbox cart item 7306 MFE = MFE Cart item 7317 MFSU = MFSU Cart item 7318 the cart recipies work fine ie you need a batbox above a mine cart to make it
  14. i have this bug on linux currently on linux too (trying your fix now) Didnt work on linux as a fix
  15. you got me thinking that i had missed somthing in that post as yes i had followed it however heres the crux. The post only says to delete the zip file not the mod_computercraft.cfg. however i tried this on the windows server and this is just a test server and this fixed the issue. it re made the cfg file call net.minecraft.server.mod_ComputerCraft.cfg so my thoughts were to do the same on the linux box..... well the linux box for some reason didnt make the cfg file and so caused java errors. As i had the working files from another server i though well just copy over. and well still does not work correctly. however i found a fix Linux - "mod_ComputerCraft.cfg Windows - "net.minecraft.server.mod_ComputerCraft.cfg the above file names were needed to get it working
