Launcher will not allow me to allocate memory

The closing is caused by some update to one of the Technic files, it has nothing to do with what Java someone is using. I run both versions of Java, and it was fine yesterday whilst running at 2gb. -
It doesn't matter, currently something has went wrong with the Technic pack. Trying to set an allocation spot closes the launcher. Log also show md5 mismatches as well.
