  1. IGN: epic_raccoon Experience in Hexxit: None, just downloaded it, looking for a lovely server, and you lot seem pretty great. Are you a PvP or PvE player?: I don't usually PvP in vanilla, but I have no idea how this pack plays, so I'll have to see, PvE seems intriguing though. Note: I'm quite friendly.
  2. Sir, if you wouldn't mind, could I possibly assist with thinking up some stuff for this mod? You are the sole dev after all, so maybe you could use a spot of help with the creative stuff, not paid, I'd just write up some ideas for mounts and general additions to the mod, only difference from what I'm currently doing is that I'd e-mail said ideas to you. Back to my reply that isn't far fetched; Thank you for thinking so, I always enjoy when devs keep in touch with their community, extra props are due, for you are the only dev and still maintain in touch with your community. if you wouldn't mind, could I suggest you read my "Idea: Dis-enchanter and Arcane Enchanter" post. The reason behind my suggestion to guns in that they'd essentially work like the guns in terraria, the bullets travel fast, but its not insta-hit, think of an arrow, no arch, and going 40% faster than a fully charged arrow, The purpose for said guns would mostly be so that rangers could hit things from farther away, said abilities the ranger has with bows carries over with guns, so if one notices an epic mob, one could pelt it with lead, then set it alight, then run up to it and begin pistol whipping/rifle butting the living sh(X)t out of said epic, collect loot, ???, then profit. If you like, I could suggest some spells I thought up if you'd be interested.
  3. Or possibly cannons one would lug around but would require particular gear for and ridiculously high strength...cause, its a cannon. I'm not sure why I thought of this, but I do think this game requires a heavy for dungeon raiding, especially when and if bosses are to be implicated, I'm fully aware we've got the warrior class which makes a fantastic close ranged heavy-crash and smash hybrids, but I believe a ranged heavy would be fantastic. Or, new spells could be implemented to allocate one's character to something like a ranged heavy, or a spellblade, or clerics (which desperately need to be added). What I'm getting at is optional spells or new classes, evidently the new spells would be great, because folks could pick and choose. Next topic, hooray...I guess. Mounts are in most every game with similarity to this mod I can think of, so it just makes sense to add them in. Why? when is the last time you where playing and thought to yourself, "Oh boy! Another ocean! I F(X)cking love these things!"...me either, Hence Sea mounts, air mounts, ground mounts, possibly underground mounts so you and your pals can make "Sinking the city with a giant worm!" jokes, I dunno, my point is, myself and I'm sure others would enjoy mounts. The possibilities for unique and odd mounts are expansive, different birds, lapras-esque sea monsters, winged squids as homage to the glitchy gits, maybe even PokeMon references, a green pig with a leaf block on its back perhaps? I'm not really sure how to end this, Bye.

  5. This is more of a personal reason for this posting, but I'm sure there's other folks out there wanting something similar. Essentially what it would be is a enchanting table, but it would would have a slot for scrolls or whatever the hell you want to call it, and instead of enchanting, it would sap all the stats and guff from the piece of gear you have in the slot, and give you a scroll with the same stats, this would be completely useless however, unless you had an Arcane Enchanter. This would be linked to a new spell, Spirit Net, which would also be a magical stat on various weapons that would automatically use this spell when allowable. What this Spirit Net spell/weapon stat would do is capture the souls of various monsters throughout the world, said potency of these souls would depend on the level and health of the monster captured, think PokeMon, the health helped in the long run, and the level of the pokemon proved how powerful it is. Now, once you've collected the crystal potent enough to transmute all of the stats into the piece of gear, you'd then require an arcane enchanter...or something like that, call it what you like frizz. Anywho, said arcane enchanter would cost quite a bit of resources blocks of gold, diamond, blocks of ore maybe, all sorts of difficult to find stuff, and then after crafting it, you could set it down, and re-enchant all your gear. One can enchant both vanilla and H/M magic stats, once can also enchant all of his/hers stats into a non noticeable item, such as a ring or amulet, said defense would also pass over, because hey, that's a hell of a lot of resources and time...might as well.
