That is not the problem, the server works fine. Nobody can connect to it on this computer.

He might be using Technic Pack... if so then "notch" you need to make sure that on the log in screen before you actually hit log in, in the top right set the drop-down menu to "Tekkit."

I was able to fix mine manually, unless it just happen to fix at the same time I did this which I doubt. All I had to do was white-list my account and it let me log in to the server when it didn't come up with the "Cannot connect to Minecraft.net" error.

Wow I googled the error and this popped up. Just realized it's only a few hours old. I'm unable to connect to my own server and this error pops up. The same thing happens as kirby808 said about unable to connect to minecraft.net. Is it just a global/time thing or is there a way to fix this? The few/rare times I am able to log in it is the name error.

Yeah I had Jre7 and I deleted Jre6 for it. I've just been playing from the server on my laptop.

I was able to find out, unfortunately, that it is my desktop. When hosting the same exact server/files on my laptop it works fine. I am not sure what is wrong, but I hope to fix it soon. :(

Below post contains the Log from the launcher of my laptop. This is after I have logged into the Technic Launcher and tried connecting to my server both locally and through Hamachi.

I haven't changed anything from the tekkit server files I downloaded. I'm not quite sure about what you mean with the Java bin either.

Launch.bat File: @ECHO OFF SET BINDIR=%~dp0 CD /D "%BINDIR%" java -Xmx1G -Xms512M -jar Tekkit.jar nogui PAUSE (Running the server): As I do with all others, I make sure I'm connect to hamachi and the properties are correct, and I just right-click "Launch.bat" and hit open. Afterward I just connect to the server and it works fine. Same with other computers.

The server is not visible, but when attempting to connect anyway that is the message that me and my friends get. Like I said earlier, my system specs are the same as my laptop, which cannot connect. The launcher logs do not contain anything about joining the server. When I have the server running, no firewalls are up, and vanilla/bukkit servers work perfectly fine with and without Hamachi. My friend in a different state is able to connect to me, but nobody can with the Tekkit server.

Unfortunately that did not work. I forgot to mention this earlier, but the error message is as follows: Failed to connect to the server Connection timed out: connect

Apologies, my firewall is deactivated for this, and the server is not visible at all. There is no server log that I can find, and the launcher log does not say anything about it.

One last note, I am using the most recent version as of 6/28/2012, which is: Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3 Server Version: 3.0.4 I would really appreciate help ASAP, although I know we are only human.
