I tried on both a multiplayer server, and then on singleplayer, traveled a really long way and couldnt find a single wild chocobo. I know theyre supposed to be pretty common, ive played a while before and know yellow chocobos are supposed to be all over the place

Yes, how about I go get my own thread so I can get the same unhelpful advice I got here? Good idea.

Its not a problem with my OS, as it is a recent copy, and I do have a roaming folder, and a user folder. This is a problem that persisted even after I re-installed my OS recently (different reasons).

Yes, the file is .jar, and re-downloading it, and even trying the .exe file, neither work.

Yes, I downloaded the right file. Screenshot is at this url: http://tinypic.com/r/szvfo6/6

After following all of these directions, running the .jar file with JAVA only brings up a Windows Installer window that displays different commands for installing and uninstalling, general things that don't pertain to the launcher.

Does anyone know if fuel in tanks behaves the same way as an item sprite? Meaning that if you have an enormous amount of fuel in one area in tanks it can cause lag?

I have a quarry set up to pipe the blocks back to a good number of chests, but while I'm offline, the quarry won't pipe the blocks into the chests, and all the individual block sprites end up either on top of the chest (when its not full) or a block or two away, and the number of sprites causes an enormous amount of lag, and it takes a long time to clean up the blocks without clearing the server cache due to how much lag there is. This only ever happens with quarries, even though the problem occurs at the end of the pipes.
