  1. Thanks! I did manage to get it running. But now whenever I run it, I get this error http://pastebin.com/FTEqR49f What can I do to fix this?
  2. Well I'm a complete noob when it comes to linux, but I decided to install Mint 15 on my extra desktop computer at home, as it originally had Vista on it, and Vista was hogging too much of the computer's resources. So anyway, I installed Mint, and downloaded the big dig server package. I made all jar files executable, and also made both the .bat file and the .sh file executable. However, when I try to run either the launch.sh or the launch.bat nothing happens. If I try to run either the launch.sh or the launch.bat as "run in terminal" the terminal pops up for a split second, then it goes away. How can I get the server to run on Linux Mint 15? If I need to do anything in the terminal, assume I know nothing and tell me how to do it step by step, because chances are that I don't know how to do it. Thanks in advance for the help.
  3. Found a massive what exactly? Lag? Oil Spout?
  4. I would love to keep the system just running, but I currently don't produce enough fuel to keep the boiler full (I'm working on it) so if I don't turn it off, it'll just cool down on it's own, and waste all new fuel by trying, and failing, to heat back up to boiling temperature. I also won't run out of power while it's heating up because I have redstone energy cells that store excess power and will feed the system while it warms up. I hadn't thought of the logistics pipe. That emits a redstone signal when it runs out of resources if you add a gate to it, correct? This would allow me to have it switch to liquid when it runs out.
  5. I was thinking I could as well, but I don't know if I want to use buildcraft pipes for the solid fueled system because once the boiler got full, the items would start spilling out of the pipe.
  6. I would like to start by saying I'm using a custom mod pack that uses tekkit lite mods as well as forestry and railcraft. I would like to know if there is some way to set up a system that would pump a solid fuel (like charcoal) into a power generator (in my case a steam boiler) and have it stop pumping in fuel once the fuel runs out. Upon running out of solid fuel, I would like it to start pumping liquid fuel (like refined oil) into a power generator (in my case still a steam boiler). Upon running out of liquid fuel it would switch again back to solid fuel, and continue this cycle on and on again. My first thought was to use gates on buildcraft pipes to detect the presence of fuel in the liquid system, but I have no idea how to set up a detection in the solid system, nor how to link the two together. All help is appreciated!
  7. IGN: kthedude Reason for wanting to become a member: I want to have a different minecraft experience than I've been having recently, and I think that tekkit will offer that for me, and your server seems to be a good tekkit server. Why should we accept you: I will be sure to follow the rules, as I run a server of my own, and I also cannot stand greifers. I'm also a new tekkit player, and so would be able to learn a lot from your server.
