So anyone in the world can get on a locally hosted server? I thought it was limited to LAN connections though. I haven't played with it much, have been waiting for all the mods I love to catch up before working on figuring it out. I know there are servers like Meepcraft that have been updated and run bukkit stuff for the 1.32. Guess I am just confused how you would server 100's of people on a locally hosted Technic or whatever it will be called. Will be interesting to see.

1.41 is for MC 1.25 and has been ported to the bukkit server and works great. I have a modded bukkit server just running the CC mod so far. Also I have been playing MC 1.32 and the SSP is just for LANs I thought. Still have to take into account config files of all the mods and all that other stuff. I don't think tekkit will be going anywhere soon, it has a nice niche market in the modded server world, because it is to much of a hassle for a lot of people to deal with the configs all the time and then try to share those configs with everyone that wants to play. It isn't impossible, just a hassle to do it on your own.

I was wondering why ComputerCraft 1.4 is not included in the Tekkit portion. It is compatible with servers and Technic has it. I just really hate having to rewrite lua for my tekkit that I already have done for my Technic.

Not selling, I just want to control the creativity part and what is going into my mods. I am not looking to make money off these other than maybe through downloads like any other mod. I want to control my idea part of it. I hate it when a great mod like forestry can't be used in a place like tekkit anymore because of differences. That is what I mean. Hope that clarified it. I have read it, I wasn't stepping on Minecraft's feet. At least didn't mean to make it sound like I was. I was talking about the person who, if they decide to do the work for me would be giving me all the source code to it and I would have the control over what I wanted to do with the mod. I run my own software company, and we do programs for PC and Mac. We also do Apps for the Android and Apple markets. I really love minecraft, but my team that works for me is not great at Java and are always working on other projects we have going. I have some ideas for a mod or two that I would really like to develop. I will pay the person based of them being an Independent Contractor. I would own all rights to the mod and the source code to the mod when completed. I think this would in the end work wonderfully because some of the really good mods are always dieing out because real life strikes the developer and they cannot continue the mod. I ran into this problem on a couple of computers. It was always the Java that was installed on the computer. I would go to the control panel and remove all the Java instances you have installed. Verify if your computer is 32 Bit or 64 Bit. Then MANUALLY download the correct Java and install that version. That fixed the problem every time I had it. NOTE: When I checked my control panel to remove the Java I had versions from Java 6 which I think was causing the issue. With you it could be the same, or that you have 32 bit Java when you should have the Java for 64 bit.

You can used exposed copper wire to control their range. Also for the best Tesla coil I have noticed since you are in creative, is to use the MFSU right next to the coil. Then use the HV Solar arrays to charge them. You can put the solar array in a nearby jungle tree to hide it and bring up the glass fiber cable from under neath. NOTE though you can't use the Redpower covers or panels to hide them, which sucks in my opinion. So if you have room you can run the cables up the center of a column that you have in one of the images. Looks great.

So you use Premiere to edit?

Adobe Premiere? If you have extra money go with Fraps or no money go with CamStudio. I have Fraps and love it. Could also go with a LiveStream Station like TwitchTV or something like that. It is free and kind of a pain to set up but you can do live lets play series or even just let it run and record it. It is a little system heavy but I do it for my other game I am addicted to. League of Legends. On a note, I started my own base. Took me 2 hours to get my lighting system partially done and that is with cheating. Kudos on your stuff, it must of taken you awhile. My lighting system is all hooked up to a single light sensor and then I have wiring to hook them up to a computer later so I can control them as I like with a program. Will be fun. Hope you post cool images on your upcoming stuff. :D

I just had to check before I started competing. I would be shot down if I do all my work and he did you are legit. I have been wanting to do an awesome computer project and having something to aim for helps the motivation to do well. I am going to do mine on my Tekkit server that I host for a few friends. Going to make some of my friends help with the project so we can do it faster. Thanks for the ideas. Hope to see more images/videos when you have a chance. Will upload my own when we get to a presentable stage.

I must say, PRETTY FRICKEN AWESOME, and that I must compete. Someday soon I will have my edition up there. mwhahahhahahahaaha Now all I have to do is learn LUA. :D
