You have to put the power direct into the Energy Links, If your still having some problems when i finish work i'll be able to log in and lend a hand (about 2 hours from now). It's probably easier to see how things are setup in person than trying to explain it :)

You will need two Energy Links, these convert the power to work with the quarry instead of electrical engines, place one on either side of the quarry and then attach a pipe to the top of the quarry and you should be up and running. http://thetekkit.wikia.com/wiki/Energy_Link#Energy_Link That's how I'm running things and it's going fine now, seems in the latest versions without forestry we lost the electrical engines so need to now use Energy Link :)
