  1. No it's not an intentional thing. You can see Luminators on the ceiling attached to CF cables that are still behaving as floor luminators. They even emit light out of the top rather than the bottom.
  2. Title: All Cabled Luminators Are Floor Luminators Version: 3.1.2 OS: Windows 7 Ultimate Java Version: 1.7.0_03 Description of Problem: Luminators display correctly on walls and ceilings for normal blocks, but when attached to IC2 cables (including CF-covered cables), they always display as a floor luminator. I posted this on the IC2 forums and they say it works fine with IC2 alone so it must be a problem with tekkit. Error Messages: Error Log:
  3. That would require that all my teleporters be next to a wall, and I don't think sub-blocks can be pushed by pistons. Can vanilla slabs be pushed by pistons?
  4. Ok I tested it out in survival mode with NEI. With a quantum chest and gem armor I was able to withstand a nuke blast from four or five blocks, and took about 6.5 hearts of damage. It's certainly less than full quantum armor, but pretty close to invulnerability.
  5. Teleporting away works fine. It's the destination that's the problem. For the two teleporters that don't work, if there's any block on top of the receiving teleporter, I fall through the ground and get stuck and have to disconnect and reconnect to get back on top of the teleporter.
  6. I have one teleporter covered by a transmutation tablet, and three covered by redpower covers. The tablet and one of the panel ones work, but the others teleport me into the ground underneath the teleporter. Does anyone know how hidden teleporters work?
  7. Huh? I don't understand. On this page of the IC2 wiki, it lists the damage reduction for each piece of quantum armor, but you say it all comes from the chest plate? Armor Piece Protection Ratio (%) Helmet 15% Bodyarmor 44% Leggings 30% Boots 15% Is it not possible to mix Quantum and gem armor without losing your invincibility?
  8. Everything I've read says that gem armor gives 90% damage reduction for the full set.
  9. The IC2 wiki lists the damage reduction for each piece of Quantum armor, but I can't find anything similar for Gem armor. Basically I wanna know if it's possible to combine certain pieces of quantum and gem armor and still have 100% protection.
  10. I've got a pedestal with a watch of flowing time here, but no matter how often I right-click, I don't see any fire or purple sparkles. I've also tried redstone, redstone torches, and red alloy wire to no avail. When I place the redstone/red alloy wire around the pedestal the graphic won't even connect to the pedestal. It just goes straight past it. Are pedestals not sensitive to redstone? Do you have to activate them some way other than right clicking?
  11. I'm playing on a friend's server, and I built an HV Solar Array factory. Other people don't have any problems, but the factory uses up all my bandwidth (40kB/s I have a crappy connection). The moment the chunk it's in loads, the game stops loading chunks and it takes upwards of 10 seconds for my actions to register. If I fly far enough away, though, the game starts loading chunks again and everything goes back to normal. I had a bit of lag while building it, but it was never unbearable and it's only recently become this bad. It stayed laggy even after the server owner reset the server. I'm using RedPower machines for most things, with insulated red alloy wire whenever possible, and all my timers are set to at least 5 seconds. I am, however, using at least twenty Buildcraft Automated Crafting Tables, each with a redstone engine that's always running. They only go through one wooden pipe though, and they never overflow. Could the buildcraft crafting tables be the issue? Do you think that replacing the buildcraft crafting tables with the redpower one would fix it?
  12. I used NetBalancer to check my bandwidth usage and connections.
  13. Title: Game Uses All My Bandwidth Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4 OS: Windows 7 Ultimate Java Version: 1.7.0_03 Description of Problem: After installing Tekkit, whenever I try to connect to a multiplayer server, under Tekkit (or Hack/Mine) java.exe opens a connection to 207.171.187.117 (amazon.com) on port 80, and uses up all of my bandwidth (42KB/s). The multiplayer connection fails because there is no bandwidth, and the bandwidth usage continues even when I return to the title screen. I've been monitoring this for about 30 minutes now and the bandwidth usage still hasn't stopped. This never happened until I installed Tekkit. What's going on here? Is this some kind of spyware?
