  1. The new world started to crash too after a week or two of playing. This time I solved it by turning off my Crossfire. I found out the fix after I had some issues with changing the resolution of a game and found a thread saying that it might be Crossfire, so I turned it off, then Tekkit started working again. If you don't have Crossfire, I think it may be time to buy a new GPU, because that's probably the problem.
  2. So I found this cool mod, called Rocket Science, which uses Industrial Craft 2 as a base (which makes me think that it would work in Tekkit), which I find it would be a awesome addition to Tekkit 3. The goal of the mod is to make rockets which can be used to carry arms or players, however, it seems that there isn't any SMP compability with it yet, but it seems like the author is prioritizing to fix that. If any of the Tekkit authors find this thread, please follow the mod and contact the author to get permission to add it to Tekkit as soon as it is SMP compatible. Thanks for your time, and I hope that I posted this in the right section. :P
  3. I managed to solve the problem, it seems to be one of my graphics cards, I turned off my AMD Crossfire and it started to work. Thanks for your help anyways :)
  4. Thanks for the help, it worked for a while, but I got a new problem, suddenly it started crashing again for some reason, and it's not my visual drivers anymore. Almost immediately when I join, the game freezes and I get blackscreen. I've tried to re-install Java and Tekkit again, but it didn't help. And yes, I un-installed all my Javas, and I'm only using the latest Java 7 64bit. Here's my log:http://pastebin.com/9jEGLnMr
  5. Whoops, don't mind this post, I'm not used to writing replies on threads, and I don't know how to delete it :P
  6. Launcher Version: Technic Launcher 1.0.1.3 Operating System: Windows 7 64bit Service Pack 1 Java Version: Java 6 Update 33 64bit & 32bit Antivirus Program: Microsoft Security Essentials Description of Problem: A couple of weeks ago, Tekkit worked fine, and I played a lot on my friends' server, but suddenly it started crashing. I couldn't find a good solution at first, but then we found out that it worked with a brand new world, so we restarted, and we thought that the problem was gone for good, but we were wrong. Suddenly, it started again. Almost instantly when I joined the server again, my game froze, the pixels got low-rez scrambled, and I got a blackscreen. I can't find any solution anywhere, and some tips and help would be nice. Error Messages: None, the game just freezes, the pixels get scrambled, and I get blackscreen. Sometimes, I get a note saying that my AMD drivers has been successfully restored, but I don't think that my graphics cards (dual ATI Radeon HD 4870) is the problem, since regular Minecraft multiplayer works, and the Tekkit multiplayer. I DO play with a 128x128 texturepack, but I get a good amount of FPS and I play with a maximum heat of about 41-45 C°, and with about 30-45 C° on my Intel Core Duo 2 8400 3.0ghz @ 3.0ghz. 7. That doesn't work for me, or my friends on single or multiplayer.
  8. I solved the problem, it seemed to be serverside, because my friend tried to generate a new world on his server, and it worked perfectly.
  9. Title: AMD Crash on Server Join Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4 OS: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 64bit Java Version: Java 6 Update 33 x64/x86 Description of Problem: When I try to play on my friends' server, my game freezes after about 50 seconds and I get whitescreen and a small window pops up saying that the AMD driver has stopped working and it's been successfully restored, the weird part is that I can play singleplayer without any issues whatsoever, and about a week ago, it was fine. Between the game not working and working, the only thing I did was to disconnect from the server for about 30 minutes and join again, then it crashed. I've tried to make Tekkit work again by reinstalling Java, and reinstalling my AMD drivers. I've also cleared Tekkits cache, lowered the renderdistance and playing with the vanilla texturepack instead of Sphax PureBD craft x128. Sometimes I can play for about an hour or two without it crashing, but I have to reinstall Java for it to work, and it's not 100% chance of that working neither. I've searched google for hours and hours, and no-one seems to have the same issue. If anyone knows what the problem might be, please reply. Error Messages: AMD display driver has stopped working and has been successfully recovered. Error Log:
