Yeah, I noticed when I fell into a pool and filled it up with a bucket. Saw it was sewage and wondered what the hell it was for. -
Question regarding generation of the world
e7tophat replied to e7tophat's topic in Tekkit Discussion
I actually just made a world and it's gorgeous and not a freaking swamp island desert. Am I safe to assume that due to the amount of it, I am going to need it all? -
Does Tekkit have any mods which re-configure how the terrain generates? I ask, because I have spent a couple hours last night trying to generate a world to begin, but every single world consists of: 1) Spawning on an island 1.a) Consisting of Sand 1. Consisting of Jungle 1.c) Consisting of Swamp 2) Has sewage EVERYWHERE 3) Has oil EVERYWHERE I am finding this is happening in every world, and I figure there has to be some configuration which is out of whack, because it's getting to a point where my mini-map view is constantly showing me atleast 2 sewage and 2 oil pools.

I had Tekkit 2.x installed a couple months ago or whatever, and recently got the newest release of it so me and my girlfriend could play. However I am missing tonnes of items and I am unsure as to why. Most of, if not all the Equivilent Exchange stuff is gone -- the different transport pipes are not there or anything. Can't figure out why.

I have been absolutely over-thrown by the amount of stuff in Tekkit -- so much so that even after watching multiple videos of it, I still have zero idea of what I am doing. I learned of a crafting table which essentially crafts everything for me if I have stuff in my inventory, however other than this -- I got no idea what to do or where to start. Me and the girlfriend want to do a fun adventure LP of us living in a technological world, and we were wondering if there is anything out there that is a very good beginners guide to understanding and using Tekkit. Thanks in advance.
