Antivirus Program: Okay, so I've been trying to get this launcher to work on and off for a week. I've done all the obvious, and gone through all the stated issues and fixes on the common issues thread. And nothing seems to resolve it.
I have downloaded the latest launcher of technic. And it started with the issue "can't find java directoy" but I fixed that quite quickly by updating. The next issue it has presented is it closes the second it goes "Checking launcher Version" after that I was told by the forum post to find the techniclauncher.jar and open that with java. So I did that. And when I do that, a black box opens briefly then closes. I can't even tell what it is it closes so fast. I've searched everywhere google can send me and I can't find a solution. I've done all the obvious things. And nothing is resolved. I've uninstalled java, reinstalled. Same with the launcher. I have the 64 bit version of java as well. Nothing seems to work.
I would be greatly appreciative if anyone could give some insight and if I'm missing anything.
