  1. So even in survival mode if you left click an item on the right-hand side it will give you a stack freely? In my multiplayer game left clicking an item when say you are at the crafting table, it shows the recipe for making it but it does not give it to you. I assumed survival mode in single player and multiplayer was the same?

That would be because on the server cheat mode is disabled. What you want is what planetguy suggested.

    1) In the inventory screen there is an options button in the bottom left. Click it.

    2) This will bring up NEI global options. The top right box will say cheat mode. Click it until it says recipe mode.

    3) Press done.

  2. If you're clicking on the items in the right hand column, that's not how you make items. That's NEI, an interface for getting item recipes by pressing "r" over an item, or instantly obtaining a stack of said item by left clicking. You haven't given enough information for anyone trying to troubleshoot, so this is the only thing I can assume is going on.

  3. Wow, yeah that's a great idea.

It should only work if you log in once with a connection though.

Wow Kaker, you really should of thought of this a long time ago, what kind of self-respecting launcher doesn't have offline support?

  4. That's good. By pugs, do you mean pubs? This is a pug group for avoiding pubs :P.

I'll cIarify, I get by ok in public match making (11 wins 9 losses) but by no means would I call myself an above average player in terms of skill.

  5. The Chinese one I'll give you, I had to google translate that one. The Japanese however, I did on my own. Any self respecting anime fan will recognize the romanji, Urusai baka yarou = うるさいばかやろう = shut up idiot. Fun fact, there are no "cuss words" in hiragana, they use katakana for all that westerner nonsense.

  6. A special version of the Kinect sensor, specifically designed for Tekkit, will be available, of course. As a bonus feature, you can even activate GregTech Mode on it. Doing so will cause a telescopic robot arm to come out of a hidden hatch on the sensor, pick up the nearest blunt object, and break your hands and wrists before playing.

The nearest blunt object being the cold, cruel, puppy-hating, non-gay rights supporting, modpack thieving heart o' Kaker that comes free with the sensor, correct?

  7. I'm forced by your mess of a post to assume that you're talking about the custom zips feature and that the "they" you are referring to are Kaker and gang.

"They" already list the mods included in the packs in the Mod List tabs on the individual pack pages, "they" even included links to the mod's website/forum thread for easy download.

  8. I don't envy your search, from a quick look decent Chobits figures seem few and far between. Doujinshi though, not so difficult, also much less appropriate for a gift. Some places to look would be Archonia , they're a EU retailer so your shipping won't be as bad. AmiAmi came up with this nice figure, about 60 USD but it ships from Japan so shipping will almost certainly be a pain in the ass.

Chobits figures seem like tough finds. Everything I'm finding is already sold out.

Did find this artbook though, can't find much info about it, so you may want to do some research.

  9. If you lack the knowledge to do something like change block ids to prevent conflicts, I would seriously advise against buying a dedicated server, because I can't imagine it will be anything even close to an easy ride for you. Seriously, think hard about if that choice is right for you, if you decide to do it anyway, I'm sure someone here will point you in the right direction.

  10. I've never played a Simcity game, and was considering giving this one a shot since it seems like a good entry point.

Then I saw always online drm, which in my opinion is complete bullshit for this type of game any game with any singleplayer component at all and will make it completely unplayable for me.

  11. *Edit: where can I download the aether mod? will it work with tekkit launcher?

While I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates your use of the edit function instead of multiple posting, it can get fairly tricky to carry a conversation if you keep editing the OP instead of replying to someone else's post.

From my understanding, the Aether can be quite the pain to install on top of Tekkit/Technic. I'd suggest you avoid it if you aren't too familiar/comfortable with modding.

*If you intend to install it in a custom zip it should work fine. It's getting it to play nice with other mods that's the problem.

In regards to my double post, he forced my hand. I swear.

  12. In regards to your first question, that's exactly what the new custom zips feature is for. Go check the front page for a how-to.

I can't figure out what you're trying to ask in your second question, if you're looking for mods then the most centralized place I'm aware of is unfortunately the "official" Minecraft modding subforums. You could probably also find lists of mods across the interwebs if you googled "best minecraft mods" or something similar. The googling would be my preference due to the stupidity that tends to breed in the official Minecraft forums.

  13. Wow, nothing makes me want to watch a lets play less than when the creator can't even spend the time to find the right place to post it. That doesn't bode well for the quality of the content you are trying to produce.
