  1. YAY! It worked perfectly! Except...the only thing is the address User > {yourusername} > Applications > Utilities > Java preferences is incorrect. The applications folder you're looking for is in Macintosh HD, not {yourusername}. Thank you so much!
  2. I have tried a clean install before. I might be using a dev version of Java but I doubt it. I'm using OSX 10.6.8 - Snow Leopard and it's a bit of a hassle to get Java for mac anyways. Do you know how I could reinstall Java, though?
  3. Nah, it's something with the Technic Launcher. I can play regular Minecraft perfectly and login fine. Thanks for trying to help though.
  4. It's something to do with a recent technic launcher update. I could play it fine before the update that made the splash screen blue as opposed to red.
  5. Oh, I just found that it's not a problem with the Mac workflow App, it's with the actual launcher. Still don't know what "it" is or how to fix "it" though.
  6. Yeah, then it's not the same problem. I can play with the regular launcher fine.
  7. I've got the same problem...My account is legit and I can play vanilla on the vanilla launcher. It gets stuck at "Loading Modpack Data...". Looking at the screen shot it's alost exactly the same. I am also on a mac except my OS is 10.6.8
  8. Thanks, I'll take a look. I'll probably wait until technic comes out for 1.1 though. Also I noticed that despite attempting to find it it wasn't there even though I have attempted to install it before. the installer.log file just says something along the lines of: Detecting OS: Mac OSX Closing installer Just two lines...
  9. Yeah, unfortuantely I've already tried that multiple times with no luck. In the comments on the old page I saw another case except they were using OSX 10.7 and my friend has a macbook pro running 10.6 and has no problems with it. This probably means it has nothing to do with 10.6... I got my macbook in 2009(the second newest one - just before they removed the mouse button on the trackpad)
  10. My java is the latest version available with the mac software update. There is no separate mac installer because it makes no difference to java.
  11. Hi, Whenever I start up the installer.jar it gives me a blank page. and clicking next does nothing. Once I click it again though it completely blanks the page and becomes a done button. After clicking the done button the installer just quits without having installed anything. I can run tekkit fine, just that the installer is being stupid. If necessary I can upload a few pictures. I'm on a pretty old macbook running OSX 10.6.8.
