Done this ans atill the same also delete the launcher and re added and still nothing?

I am running my own tekkit server, got it working with McMyadmin however i am an admin on therver and this works fine for me, my freind is also admin but when he tried to click it it just give im the recipe and he is in the same group, any ideas? this happend before and redownload the launcher and the files fixed it on his laptop but he has tried this sevral times abnd still unable to give hiself items but i can ?
