My technic launcher isn't working on my mac book air. It won't work for any of the packs. When I try and launch a pack it doesn't launch!

My tekkit isn't working! I open up tekkit and when I press login it just loads and nothing happens! I tried deleting my technic pack folder in my app support and it still doesn't work! I even tried re installing the technic pack.

is there a guide for setting up a tekkit server for mac? i cant seem to find it.
