  1. nvm I failed. turns out I hooked the blutricity up wrong and I had it hooked up correctly before. seems motors store power. I had no idea...
  2. So I've been building a castle in tekkit, and I use frame motors and a redpower computer to make a big door go up and down, part of the floor pull out and tables and chairs come from the floor, and all of that works fine. I now added a retractable bridge and after successfully opening and closing it fully twice, the third time it only pushed out 7 out of 9 blocks, and now the motor that's supposed to push it forwards stopped working for no apparent reason (there's plenty of power in the battery box and nothing else has changed) and after reversing the other engine, it too has stalled in the same way. I also stripped away every block that attached to the bridge, except the motors so it's definitely not attached to other blocks, getting stuck that way. I tried removing/replacing the motors, adding another battery box closer to the motor, manually operating the thing, restarting the server, but nothing seems to work. Anyone have an idea what the problem could be?
  3. A forest fire seems very unlikely, we haven't had thunder at all and nothing else that burns. an item spill is a possibility, we do use buildcraft pipes, mostly with insertion pipes so it shouldn't spill, the only places we don't use those we don't have a whole lot coming in. certainly there isn't anywhere where a thousand items would pop out within 5 minutes, I mean, I assume that's the kind of numbers we're talking about?
  4. I'm hosting a tekkit server just for me and a friend, and have been for a few months. However today after playing about an hour the server started to kick me and my friend out and the server says "disconnect.overflow". also my client's cpu usage jumps from about 15% to as high as 85% on my i7 2600k and I get massive fps lag before I disconnect and every time I log in until I get kicked out again. tried restarting the server, my PC and the client several times with no effect. After that I loaded a backup from the last time we played and it worked again, for about an hour. After that we had the exact same issues. We haven't been adding any machines or anything, and the ones we have have been working without issue for quite a while now so i don't think that's the problem. Anyone have any idea what could be going on?
  5. Title: deployer not working in SMP Version: 3.1.2 OS: Windows 7 64 bit Java Version: latest 64-bit as of aug 13 Description of Problem: I have a deployer with a bucket, pointing at a tank with lava, redstone current coming in on a timer, but it doesn't fill up. the exact same setup works fine in SSP not using EE2 added forestry craft. Error Messages: Error Log:
  6. So I added forestry to my tekkit server and client, but when I try to make any forestry items, when I put the last item needed in the crafting window, the item I want appears for a fraction of a second in the crafting window, but disappears before I can grab it. what's going on?
