When it was initially released (0.50), the first thing I did was adding Optifine (it's the last, standard version)... and, it doesn't appear the textures to be connected.

Hello! In the last update of Tekkit (classic) there were some nice features that came with it, including the connected textures feature. However, in Tekkit Lite, some connected textures were missing... for instance: wood and chiseled stone brick. My question is: the connected textures were missing because of the texture pack (Spax 128x) or because of Tekkit Lite? Thank you!

No, it's not that. The Mojang team updated Minecraft to 1.3.2, so we need to wait for the launcher to make a update.
