Ok, that makes sense.

the nei recipe for the Commercial steam engine has iron plates shown in the recipe, though the industrial has the steel plates.

How exactly can I get an iron plate? I tried the railcraft recipe I found, which is 4 iron, but that didn't work.. I didn't see anything in config files.

I made a teleport tether and placed it, but when I hit F9 it doesn't show any boundaries. I also went into single player and placed one, and F9 stilled showed nothing. Am I missing something, is there a setting that would cause it not to show boundaries? I'm using the recommended tekkit build 3.1.2
