but wont tekkit be compatible with 1.3 eventually. i mean how do i update it when it is compatible?

so what your saying is that i cant update my server from minecraft 1.2 to minecraft 1.3?

I mean as in minecraft versions not tekkit versions...

What I'm asking is how to update the version of minecraft. Like say I have 1.2 and 1.3 comes out, how do I update my server without losing my work? I have looked for guides and I never see any. :/

Hey guys, I just made a tekkit server, and its working. I have a question, how do I update my server when a new version of minecraft comes out, without losing me and my friends work? And, how do I update to the latest version of tekkit? Any help will be greatly apprieciated.
