  1. does this only happen on cretain maps or also when you start a completely new map?
  2. You do have a World in "The End". It is just very far away. You can read up here: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/spawn-too-far-from-the-end-island.19085/
  3. Sometimes the sourceblocks seem to forget that they should spread. I sometimes get mine to work again after placing a block where the cobblestone should generate. Removing those blocks with the block breaker should reset the water and lava to flow again...
  4. Check the following: - does he run the official tekkit launcher and not a cracked one - does it run in online mode - do you run the server in online mode - can he play normal minecraft without errors - can he connect to normal minecraft servers
  5. Hit your F3 button and switch to debug view. In the upper left corner you can see something like "E: ###/###" (# being numbers). If the numbers get too big it means that there could be too many items within viewing range. This might happen if your quarries filled up all the chests they were hooked up to and are now spitting the items onto the ground (Buildcraft pipes tend to do that). Only possible solution: Move out of viewing range of the items. Craft some chests, go back and lag your way to the filled up chests. Place new chests and fill them up with the items on the ground. PS: this is just a wild guess. Screenshots would help ;)
  6. The chunk gets unloaded when you leave the server. You could try using a chunk loading block (there are several available now) or if you don't mind if the computer does nothing while you're gone, save your program as "startup". It will executed as soon as the computer gets loaded again...
  7. Title: Retrievulator Setup bug Version: 3.1.1 OS: Windows 7 64bit Java Version: Java 7 Update 4 64bit Description of Problem: As can be seen in the pictures <here> I am trying to setup a little system that lets me build things with the push of a button. The Retrievulator makes the Retriever get the items for the Automatic Crafting Table MKII. What it is supposed to craft is taken out with a filter, which is toggled with redstone tubes. Sometimes however this setup bugs out in that the filter does not work anymore. It stays in the position of being powered, even when I send no redstone signal. One "possible" error could be that the retrievulator emits a redstone signal when it cannot output its requested items, but that signal shouldn't read the filter, or am I wrong there? Error Messages: Error Log:
  8. Late reply but maybe it helps: Run your client and switch to debug view. There check the entity part and look if that number suddenly goes up. I could imagine that on older computers and depending on the settings, loading all the chunks can take a while. If a chunk with many items lying around is loaded it can cause massive lag. Maybe a quarry produced an overflow and spit all the items on the ground....
  9. It appears like a bug to me because it also ignores the limit set by the other retriever. So if you request 6 pieces from the retriever that is further away, the retriever that is closer will pass them through even when it should only pass 3. Current workaround for me: put something behind it that stops passing through items, such as a retrievulator or a regulator.
