Reinstall didn't work: Mods listed are: mod_IC2AdvancedMachines v3.6 mod_CCTurtle 1.2 mod_ComputerCraft 1.3 mod_DoorFix 1.1.0 mod_Forestry 1.2.6.5 mod_IC2 v1.71 mod_CompactSolars 1.2 mod_Railcraft 3.4.2 mod_IC2_ChargingBench1.71-1 and the same error happens for my friend trying to log in too.

Okay... problem solved... but a new arises... i was trying through Technic not Tekkit... i'm noob... but now it says i'm missing 7 mods including Doorfix and Craftingtable... i'm trying to reinstall the launcher. but if anyone has other ideas.

:o Sorry to bother again... Server is up it seems but when I try to get into the game the server gives me the error "Requires you to have Minecraft Forge installed". ideas?

Digging though forums i found someone with the same issue... i'm going to try the solution that fixed it for them ^.^ thanks all

I'm a new user to Minecraft, brought in by a friend who wants me to run a server. now that Tekkit has updated to match minecrafts latest version I downloaded the pack and extracted it but can't for the life of me find any guides or anything that will help me get a server set up. I was able to get a vanilla server running fine but my friend and i love the technic mods and would like to get a server that is workable with it. right now when i load Technic it loads ver.1.1 though my minecraft is the updated version. i would just like info on how a new user can set up a server on their own without "updating". even a link to a forum topic that will help would be nice... thanks a ton.
