I have the same problem and after searching the forums so do a lot of other people but no one has posted a solution.

This is happening to me as well but when I delete my lastlogin and then click on the launcher the rectangle technic launcher box appears and just stays in the middle of my screen doing nothing.

This has been happening to me for the past few days as well. After searching around people have told me to delete my "lastlogin" but after I delete this I get a new problem where the launcher gets stuck on the white rectangle box that says "Technic launcher". I'v restored my "lastlogin" for now.
