ok I tried clearing my cache and I've run into a problem I run into when using any of the newest builds of minecraft that gives me an 'update failed' message. The problem is this is minecraft 1.2.5...that's not one I've run into it with.

Why you should be whitelisted (5 sentences minimum): As I mentioned in my (incorrect) app, I could bring new ideas and a fairly nice personality to the server. Again I might say I have had a bad day but I leave my attitude at the door always. No block penises obviously, that's just plain wrong. I am willing to help other people with creations/houses/general knowledge of other mods, etc. etc. Also, minecraft is a part of my life. I've been away from minecraft for maybe a few weeks since tekkit classic came out, but I've been server hunting and looking for a group of people wishing to call me 'family.'
Previous Bans: Again I don't have perminant bans, but I did get a temp ban/block/whatever you want to call it over some child's play fighting about a diamond block.
What you intend to do on the server: (Minimum of 5 sentences): Help others, play nice, and build a kick ass castle/base of operations with indentured serv-I mean friends. <.< >.> ... But nah, I do intend to try and contribute to the group and be part of a greater whole.I really can't think of anything I haven't mentioned prior to this already other than after spending some time on the server, learning the lay of the land I'd be willing to offer some help as a mod, supporter, builder, or whatever you guys want to shove me with so long as it's not cleaning up the cow poo. Ha!

Leaving the attitude at the door isn't hard at all, I might say I've had a bad day, leave it at that.Previous bans and why you were banned: Ban-ed? Don't think I've ever been banned as in PERMANENTLY banned. Kicks+Temp bans..once, when a guy and I were fighting over some bullshit (I won't drag the details into this) but it was like a twenty minute time out.

I think this is a great idea in it's basic design and would be pretty nice to expand on. The only problem I see is that volts has a mod that does this already.

Usually Nox or Alium Deathtrap 13. Fear the lord Singulo and god Sarah, she will make you see things :3 Also rarely on teh yogstation but it's very hectic 24/7 there.
One word of warning; Alium has whitelist and you can't be atmosia, only one guy is allowed that because everyone else apparently likes to mix the air with Plasma and so he not trusts them. Oh, and 8 hour shifts result in godly shenanigans. :3

I can profess that this game is actually fun! As long as the nobody decides to flood the atmos pipes with fricken plasma. I would love to see this game develop into something even better than is, like more food recipies and space chems! Also wonder if you could make a 3D of this :3

I think your problem is because some things still aren't supported by PureBDcraft, like forcefields. Some blocks simply aren't supported by it as of yet. I've thought about doing that myself.

Which launcher version do you have?
EDIT: You seem to have figured it out already. Dev builds don't work with some older launcher versions.

Ok so I thought about trying this awhile back with some guys and it kinda fell in on itself. One just walked out on us and the other three of us all kinda vanished on each other. I actually figured out ta problem; change to the new technic launcher ya dumb shit XD if I can close this I will, if not then I'll let the admins do it. Its still giving the funny 'hello' pop up that vanishes but it runs now so eh.

ok so I BOTH cleared the cache and removed redpower folder from /Techssp , still get that hello folder and it freezes

Description of Problem:
I'm not sure if this is a problem with the launcher or with Technic but whenever I try to open the latest developmental build, 1.4.5, as well as all versions after the last developmental of 1.2.5, it pops up the technic game window with white screen, and for a split second there's a screen of white that pops up in a separate window that reads "hello" and then vanishes and the game seems to freeze. No mojang sign, no load up, even the launcher hangs around. So that's why I'm thinking it's a launcher problem, but IDK. I get no error messages and the last developmental of 1.2.5 works like a charm, no hickups or glitches. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! I will move this to the appropriate thread if this isn't where it goes. The error log is from the develop marked latest, 7.3.7 if I'm right.

Ah yes, the dreaded dupe glitch. One that will eventually be PATCHED. Unlike the Computercraft programing. I actually had no computer craft on a server I played a lot on once because it turned out someone had hacked it using only computercraft. Banned all the admins and had to reset the server. Nasty stuff.

Mine it all very carefully with a silk touch pick and place it in a palace made of diamond and gold. Gain its trust and eventually have a relationship with it. One day, after you have kids, and it trusts you with all its heart, brutally murder all of your kids until they are but flint, and make the gravel watch. And when you have finished this task, detonate a nuke that was hidden under the palace the whole time to anialate the gravel you so loath. This will crush it emotionally as well as physically. Then go back to the mines and any other gravel that sees you will mine all the ores for you and hail you as a king they will fear you so much. When one get out of line, behead it!!!!!!!!!!

I think you should just get rid of all emc:collectors, condensers, and tablets. That way players will actually spend a long long time working towards the awesome EE stuff, and stay with the server
I only disagree to tablets, they make things a little bit easier but not by much; helps with all the crappy dirt you get.

I generally like tablets because they're about as close to the true purpose as you can go without people just abusing them. They can transmute stuff, but they can't collect free energy. In my opinion, that's what EE should be - Stuff to other stuff, not nothing to diamonds.
see that's why I liked the thaumic 2 creation thingy, the one that clones objects; it took away for making strong objects!

I don't really know what others think, but mining gets boring, if your on your own just digging for ages I'd get bored, once you have the initial gear to make a condenser and have materials to condense you have mined to the extent that it's not going to be fun any more, the sooner you can get onto making advanced machines the more fun tekkit gets and the condenser cuts out the "meh" phase, so it keeps people playing knowing that 70% of their time will be spent it a cave.
but what about that rush you get not knowing if the next corner has a dungeon or a creeper behind it? The rush of dropping your newly found ores into a macerator that connects to bluetric furnaces!?
