Title: I cant play on tekkit/minecraft servers

OS: windows xp
Java Version: version 7 update 5 32bit
Description of Problem:
when i join a server i can destroy blocks but wont get anything from them, i cant right click chests ect and when i chat it wont come up. also the world sort of just ends off and if you walk off you keep falling till the error comes up! i really want to play with a friend but this is stopping me playing on his server. please help me fix this and tell me how to get an error message to post!
