It seems to be a problem with MC 1.2.5, not Tekkit specifically, as the same thing happens when I try and run the older version of vanilla.

Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3 Operating System: Windows 7 SP1 x64 Java Version: 7u5 (32bit and 64bit installed) Antivirus Program: Avast Description of Problem: After hitting Login, the Tekkit window appears with the orange Mojang logo, and nothing more happens. The program sits using a constant 13% CPU, and 660 to 757MB RAM. The only way to end the program is to kill the Java process. The regular Minecraft launcher works fine.
