  1. Randomly out of the blue after upgrading to the latest tekkit a bunch of Ender Crystals have spawned randomly in the primary world, they look like multiples of themselves overlapping, cannot be interacting with, cannot be hit with projectiles, nothing... Before you ask, I have nothing on the server that should cause them to spawn, didn't even know it was possible. What I despearately need is a way to remove them, please help! They're causing tons of endermen to spawn and it's problematic to say the least.
  2. check your config file server.properties and make sure you don't have it in debug mode?
  3. Many times actually, tried unloading pretty much everything (except the plugin I use to see how many chunks are loaded), I never used to have this problem it only loaded chunks people were in need of, stuff inside the view distance. Even with half my players on that number isn't nearly as high as 2000. Doesn't seem to change the load, so my only guess is that it could be a mod, I don't have much in the way of plugins loaded most of the time.
  4. So I've removed all chunk loaders with world editing, there's nothing that should be loading up chunks, but when the server loads with no players on it, it loads up about 2000 chunks, that never unload themselves and have no reason I can find to be loaded. It's becoming a strain on the servers CPU to be loaded up and processing all the time, any idea what could be causing it?
  5. I use MaxTPS to make items stack, and run world edits //remove items -1 every so often. I assume by flooding pipes you mean pipes dropping items. Don't appear to be any on the server and no one is really using RP2. It can't be world generation because I'm not seeing new chunks load nor is it coming even close to eating up RAM. Could be the RAID I suppose.
  6. Well the chunks people are working in shouldn't be close enough to spawn to stay loaded all the time, issue seems to persist even with the removal of all chunk loader items. What exactly would good specs be then?? We're getting very little memory usage, max is assigned to it and it never goes beyond about 900 MB usage.
  7. Yes, TPS, not FPS. I don't care about clients FPS, they can go get a new computer. There's nothing running at all on the server other than minecraft, it's a 3.0 GHz 64 bit quad core with 4 GB of RAM. No one is really using wireless redstone at all, but how do you mean improperly? I know CC can cause big issues. And yes I'm aware, how do you think I'm checking my TPS? I've also got all my players making quarries only below the surface or enclosed in buildings to prevent the various performance issues they cause. I'll try removing the world anchor. Do pipes being closer to spawn make things worse than if they were far away?
  8. Hey, I've got a Tekkit server I've had about 8 friends on, only 1 or 2 of them are on much, the world isn't terribly developed, one of them has a moderately complicated pipe system and there's only one world anchor loading anything. But we're getting super bad TPS, for reason I cannot fathom, it fluctuates wildly between 9 TPS and 20 TPS, and people are starting to get some pretty serious lag. Any help would be highly appreciated!
  9. I'll try without plugs tomorrow but none of those affected earlier versions of tekkits build for any mod nor should any of them affect chunk loading.

  11. No, it has nothing to do with teleport pipes. I know that they aren't working because everything will function fine when a player is around but as soon as they've been gone awhile and the chunk would normally unload all things that rely on the chunk being loaded, like quarries which have their own power source in the chunk stop working. Meanwhile the device holding the power, the MFE gains a full charge when it shouldn't because the draw from the quarry normally prevents it from storing more than a couple hundred power over the course of a day. Similar situations with all other items.
  12. Chunk loaders from any mod be it Railcrafts World Anchors, Additional Pipes Teleport Tethers, or even a Bukkit plugin that loads chunks to make plants grow when you're not around, are all non functional in this version of Tekkit (3.0.3). This is extremely problematic as it severely limits what can be done with teleport pipes since if you're not in attendance at both ends they stop functioning. It also causes several items like quarries and the like to cease functioning when you're not around. Hopefully someone knows what is causing this and how I can fix it! Thanks.
  13. I see, any reason to avoid that? I assumed Tekkit was distributed with already functioning IDs so these types of conflicts wouldn't happen, and only 1/9 clients is getting this issue...
  14. Huh, you're correct, different block ID, yet they're both base tekkit installs of the same version and therefore should have the same block ID. I've literally changed nothing but this system has one block ID server has another and all but one of the clients also has the servers ID...that's pretty messed up, what would cause this?
  15. Title: NullPointerException while crafting Wireless Redstone stuff Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4 OS: Windows 7 Java Version: 1.7 64-bit Description of Problem: Whenever I try to craft wireless redstone receivers and transmitter items as soon as I put the last item into the crafting grid the item shows up but the client disconnects citing a NullPointerException... This is ridiculous no one can use wireless redstone which is really needed for my server! Error Messages: No error report is being generated... Error Log:
