Misterspell3

Ive ben trying for over a week now every day on the forums looking at anything i could do to fix it and constantly messing around with it. Problem: Click on the client download hit run and see "Checking Launcher Version" then it instantly closes within a second. What I've Tried: 1. Downloaded 64-bit Java (lastest version several times) 2. Tried the .Exe and the .Jar files on the download page 3. Went to %appdata% and tried to open the .jar file there Computer Specs: (Using dxdiag) Windows 7 home premium 64-bit Java 64 bit Microsoft Security Essentials (Need any other info please ask) (if a technician could screen share me on Skype or something similar that would be awesome) Thanks in Advance

Re: Common Problems (And their solutions) Ok i know this might sound stupid and all but.... i cant tell what antivirus(s) i have installed i had norton but i thought i uninstalled it months ago then i just read on a thread that it can also cause the launcher to instantly close down so i was wondering if there was a way other then control panel programs to check if u indeeded have norton installed or not.

Re: Common Problems (And their solutions) I have been trying to download the launcher for on and off for about a week now and i have finally had enough and cant take it anymore and must post a question (because i have been looking around and trying things but they aren't working so i came back here to post this question. *So far i have tried* - Installing Java 64-bit - Installing the Launcher JAR/EXE (0.5.4.6) - Went to %appdata%/.techniclauncher and open the JAR file which also instantly crashed with what looked like a Command Prompt screen for 1/2 a second Again if it wasn't clear above i click the link it opens a lil window goes to about 100% then instantly vanishes Please Help P.S.
