I've experienced the same issue with launcher and v7 of java... just roll back to v6 update 33 and all is fine. i guess it will take some time to fix this kind of issues... 2 things, first of all uninstall every trace of java7 from the pc, get the 6.33 from the download page of java then reinstall. before starting the launcher save your worlds by moving the folders to unother place then erease the .thecnicLauncher folder, start the launcher and hopefully it will work. didi it in my case. hope it will help.
