  1. Another shortcut to launch the launcher normally :)
  2. Well, then a shortcut to launch the launcher, log you in, and then start the client. I find it silly how you need to launch launcher, log in, and wait for it to load.. AFIK the vanilla minecraft does this or used to do that..
  3. Apologies if this is the wrong forum. But is there a way I can launch a specific build (tekkit, technic) from a shortcut, without having to first load the launcher, then the client?
  4. I have an old PC I use as a host with 4gb, and it runs fine
  5. There is a sorter attached to the macerator, and the pipe attached to that --------- Tried putting retrievers on the macerators to pull the dust out. They would pull it out, but they would not send it to the color pipe I told it to. Does ANYONE have even a basic guide on how to make a redpower smelter/sorter system? Everything I come up is in LP format, uses buildcraft pipes, or isn't helpful at ALL -------- To be specific, I need to -Pull from chest A -Sort from chest A, nether ores to macerator, regular ores to RM furnace -Pull ores from macerator, send to RM furnace -Pull from RM furnace, send to chest
  6. Alright... But the cartoon would have been easier to understand, I hope one would have assumed the machines were orientated the right way. I changed it so that the path a single ore would take to be turned into a bar was linear, but it did not work as I expected... Items were not pulled from the macerator http://imgur.com/a/zb3Db
  7. Because there are no logistic pipes in tekkit, I'm trying to build a sorting system with redpower tubes This is what I have ~all machines are on, have power, and have a pulse when needed~ Alchemy chest as a dump point. Sorting machine attached from it, set to "any item with default route" mode 1 macerator with a sorting machine, same settings 1 furnace, with a sorting machine, same settings 2 chests as end point I have the first sorter set to send iron ore to the RED pipe, and I have the pipe that goes into the macerator painted red. I have the second sorter, on the macerator, set to send iron dust to the ORANGE pipe, the pipe going into the furnace is painted ORANGE I have the third sorter, on the furnace, set to send iron bars to BLACK, the pipe going into one of the chests is painted BLACK. Now, I can get things going as far as having the ores sent to the macerator, and the macerator sorting machine sometimes takes out the dust, but then glows red with an error. I have NO idea what is wrong. Do I have to have a separated point-to-point pipe for routs, like one would have if they are making a sorting with buildcraft pipes, but WITHOUT logistic pipes, or would I be fine having a single path bus network, like logistic pipes, where only the end point is painted? I currently have a bus network.. Thanks - Tried something new Black = chest, top chest is the origin Orange = sorting machine Grey= macerator red=furnace The first sorting machine will pull ore, send it to the macerator, but the next machine won't pull it from the macerator
  8. I added the electrical engines (that is in technic) to my tekkit server A short while after playing, I noticed this That is the rotary macerator and singularity compressor The only way I can fix this is by restarting my client. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong? :(
  9. Ah.. so, there is no way to force a world to be loaded into memory unless someone is actually there then?
  10. Just a run down. If I set up a world anchor in the nether, and set up a machine, say a quarry, would it continue to run if nobody is in the nether, because of the world anchor?
  11. So, put that same zip in the mods folder for both the server and client? Minecraft is whitescreening after I hit the Mojang logo now, but the server seems fine Figured it out Thanks for your help
  12. Is there any way to add the transformers mod with the electrical engines to a tekkit server? The few people who I host for prefer that to the power converters http://technicpack.wikia.com/wiki/Electric_Engines From the IC forums.. I'm a bit confused as to what zip I need to grab, and which version http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=5789 Many thanks
  13. I'm thinking this may be a client side issue, but here is the deal I put some ores in a macerator, and then I sign out. I have a world anchor in the same area as the macerator, so I would have expected it to do its thing while I'm not there. I sign back in, and whenever I open the macerator's GUI, the initial ores are still there. I'm not able to remove the ore or the dust as it is ground.. I tried removing the macerator, placed it back, same issue. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting, same issue Tried restarting the server. Same issue. Any ideas? - Turns out it looks like it was the ore.. I had nether ore, 135:2. It didn't work in the macerator, but when I put it in my furnace, it burnt down to an ore block, and then into a gold bar.. strange - Now I have the same issue with an nether iron block :S Didn't nether ores uses to macerate down into 2 regular ores, instead of dust?
  14. Ahh.. alright How about the enderchest? Can that be shared between players?
  15. I thought that alchemy bags would work on a smp server that is NOT in offline mode.. but they do not seem to be able to share space between players. Is something wrong, or do I just misunderstand it :\ Thanks
