My technic launcher just stays at the "loading" screen forever and I am using the exact same specs as you are. If you need to access your %appdata% folder, you can hit the windows button and "r" to open up 'run'. From there, you can just type %appdata% and it will take you right to your roaming folder

Hey whats going on with the Tekkit server? its been down for like 5 or 6 days and and i know its not my computer because all of my friends that i play on the server with cant get on either.
