TBH there's loads of different methods to make unlimited EMC with blockbreakers besides breaking cobblestone, so you ban that you need to ban them all. A typical second choice (as it requires power to run the compressor) is to break the snow under a snow golem and compress it into ice, then pipe that back to the condenser (this is also a great way to cool a reactor). You can also do it with milk and a number of other items.

I assure you it's far from abandoned. And the reason for lack of updates is because Technic team likes to spend time typing code, not typing blog posts about what they ate and posting pics of doing gangnam style.
Poor excuse, it takes 2 mins to post an update on the front page to say what's happening. No information at all means as far as we are concerned, nothing is happening, then posts like this one starts up.

Ok so I built my first nuclear reactor (went all out and made a Mk VI) which is ice cooled (NOT using Energy Collector which is banned on my server).
This obv eats uranium cells every 2-3 hrs and creates the near depleted a lot of the times. So I looked into this "breeder" reactor which turns them back into a usable format (after a little crafting).
Ok so I can put the depleted isotope cells back in my first reactor and eventually they turn into the re-enriched uranium cells but at a pretty big power output cost.
But what I don't get is the point of a breeder reactor, I mean you create a 2nd smaller nuclear reactor and run it hot using even more uranium, to make uranium? I take it at some degree of heat it creates the re-enriched cells faster than it burns the uranium cells to make them in the first place?
Someone enlighten me please on what I'm missing.
PS my first reactor, I backed up my world and blew it up to see how good it was. The only thing that got destroyed was the reactor and the chamber

Locate the file launch.bat and EDIT it
the default is - java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar Tekkit.jar nogui
On a 2GB RAM PC change it to - java -Xmx1024m -Xms1024M -jar Tekkit.jar nogui
I've bolden the 2 important bits, this is the RAM, the default line expects you to have at LEAST 5GB RAM to run, this is often why people who just download and run tekkit crash without it ever starting. So adjust the startup line to suit your RAM configuration.

On your server edit mod_ee.props, at the bottom of this file are a load of "Allow......=1" entries, simply change that 1 to a 0 to ban them.
For example AllowDCatalyst=1 change it to say AllowDCatalyst=0

I power all my quarry''s off the energy link without an issue this is what I use.
MFSU > Energy Link > Wooden conductive pipe > conductive teleport pipe
On quarry I just use wooden conductive > conductive teleport pipe (set to recieve)
BUT!!
The energy link needs to be connected to the MFSU via the 3 dot/odd side. If you connect the energy link to any other side of the MFSU it doesn't work.

Please someone write something to locate Anchors (both world and dimensional) and return it's position.
They are a pain in the bum to find....

#2 you have to connect the wooden pipe to the tanks you want to extract lava from, not to the teleport pipe
This is what you're doing wrong. You can't connect a wooden pipe anywhere and expect it to pull the lava, the wooden pipe has to be the first pipe on the tank that you want to suck lava from and has to have an engine attached to each wooden pipe.

Yeah was simply pointing out if you ban cobblestone then they can use alternate methods to do the same thing (more or less).
