...Damn it, that was Yogbox all along?? Now I feel like a moron. Here I thought it was a custom modpack I had picked up. ...Oh well. Thanks for answering though =)

I remember a while ago, the Technic launcher hosted an "adventure/magic" style of modpack that included things like: Battletowers, pirate ships, Millenaire, etc. - But it also had Thaumcraft 2. This was my FAVORITE version of the mod - It was very useful, easy to start out with, but was also very punishing if you decided to use it irresponsibly. (This is the version where the purple 'taint' would spread almost infinitely if you weren't careful.) Does anyone remember this old modpack? Or perhaps there is a similar modpack out there?

Yogbox are goons, right? Yeah, love those guys... =S I read up a little bit about Yogbox 1.2.5 though, they said they were having problems with the auto-gen tower dungeons (which happens to be my favorite part of the mod - will be ANGRY if that is causing such a problem that they take it out! But apparently it's not ready yet. I was kinda wondering if maybe that was the reason for all the crashes - every other modpack runs on 1.2.5 or better, but Yogbox is still 1.2.3 ...Ah, in fact I just tried to run the 1.2.5 build, got the "BarrackBlockID Error"... Going back to 1.2.3 then! ... ... ... ... ...Okay, it works now, I think... I played for about 4-5 hours without a problem, though my airship textures are starting to bug out a little... Not sure what causes that but...

Well, now it has 8 GB of ram - that's more than I set the JRE to allow (only 6GB) but that shouldn't be a problem Hmmm... Well it WAS running okay for a while there, but then all of a sudden the minimap changed to "REI MINIMAP [ERROR:NULL]" for a moment, and then the level locked up. (And then when I went back into it there was a 5 seconds on, one or two frozen sort of pattern - again. ARGHHHHH...) Maybe the Yogbox guys know about this? How would I contact them about it?

Hmmm... It's always helpful to know what exactly to google-search for, but when you do know problems get solved... I'll check back in a couple of days and let you know how it went. No news = Good news, if that becomes the case. ... ... ... (Many hours later...) So, I have that problem fixed - sorta. Things still bork up every once in a while, but that might be on account of the mods somehow not playing nice with my java. Next problem only applies to the Yogbox pack. When starting the client everything is fine for a short while, then a constant stutter begins to take place. Every 5-6 seconds or so, the client skips about a second. Here's the problem though: That is the precise description of the "Lag Spike Of Death" - but I have my autosave setting at 3 minutes. Nothing else seems to be mentioned as to this stuttering or its' cause; Everything says it's LSOD, but unless I missed something, I fixed that beforehand...

I am having trouble with the YogBox modpack, however when I look on this forum I don't find a support/bugs section for it. If this post is in the wrong section, it's because I can't find the proper section for it - it does not exist. The problem itself is hard to define with certainty, partly because I can't get hold of an error log, and partly because the mods in the pack are not known (or if they are, they aren't the current or matching version to those in the Technic mod group - MoCreatures for example). When loading (or updating blocks in) some of the chunks I will suddenly see an X-ray view through the top of the chunk, showing the various Vis / Lava / caverns below. The framerate drops to less than 1 and it becomes impossible to move. If I am somehow able to exit the world to the main menu screen, loading it back up simply causes the problem to recur (and sometimes the client simply crashes or runs out of memory) I am unsure which chunk on any given map will do this or if it even is a chunk doing it, it will simply lock up at any time. This problem also occurs on other modpacks to a lesser degree, but the Yogbox has a good combination of mods that I prefer at the moment, and it also seems to have the worst time with this problem. Any help would be appreciated.
