  1. This was happening to me. I think the world file was corrupted somehow, but that's a hunch since the world file worked fine when I imported it to single player. Had to roll back to a pretty old backup and now shit's fine.
  2. Title: Dropped items disappear Version: 3.1.2 OS: Linux Java Version: 1.7 Description of Problem: So, my tekkit server has taken on a weird aspect. Nearly all items dropped disappear immediately. Mining will result in what seems like 1/5 yield, although it's tough to tell. Like, breaking 5 stone will give you 1 cobble. Thrown or dropped items disappear. It looks like they're just flying away behind the players who drop them. Any thoughts? It's kind of a dealbreaker. I've disabled all non-tekkit bukkit plugins and restarted a few times. EDIT Stuff I've tried: Downloading SMP world to Tekkit SSP. Gave Tekkit less RAM than my server has. Worked fine. Reuploaded to server with a bunch of items still on the ground. They were gone when I logged in. Reinstalled Tekkit plugins and jar file. No change. Rolled back the server to a time when there was a known-good. No change. Tried in Overworld/Nether/End. No change. I'm totally at a loss. It's not RAM, it's not the world, and it's not Tekkit. Where does that leave me? Error Messages: Error Log:
  3. I'm new to running a Tekkit server and haven't been able to locate the message config files announcing world saves. It's showing up for OPs and regular players. Mucks up the chat a bit. EDIT: Aaand nevermind. Googling tekkit + the problem got me nothing. Turns out it was related to multicraft and not tekkit at all. Fixed.
  4. I tried installing the 1.2.5 forge plugin from Rei's official forum page, but the server won't start. I added commandbook but it doesn't seem to load. Doesn't even show up when I do a /plugins command. Loading realmotd doesn't work either, since for some reason it's always superbugged and spells out the colors instead of actually displaying things in color. Anyone else get this up and running? edit: nevermind. For some reason the default way to color things in realmotd's config file wasn't working. the test info displayed stuff like "yellowhello greyplayername". When I deleted that crap and added this it worked. &black&black&dark_blue&dark_green&dark_aqua&dark_red&dark_purple&gold&gray&yellow&white
