What in the heck does this mean?

I am using a Linux Laptop(not my choice...) to try and play tekkit. Now, I am unable to delete the META.INF folder, as I believe I need to. How exactly do I do that? I didn't see this question in the "Questions" part of the main page, so I would like help from the community. Please and Thank you.
