Launcher Version: most recent Operating System: Win 7 ultimate x64 Java Version: JDK7u7 Antivirus Program: none yet Description of Problem: I've seen alot of people with an error like this but no answers yet that i can find. My problem is simple, When i load the technic launcher the "Checking update version." and then closes down after about a half a second. Now when i go into the launcher folder and run the .jar file it loads fine and everything works, even my server. Any Idea why the updater wont load the .jar file? I should also mention that this is a fresh windows install with 2 OS's installed, one for gaming on a SSD and one for working on a HDD. Technic Launcher works fine on the working PC(old build) but is broken, as discribed above, on the Gaming build. Error Messages: none Error Log: none
