  1. I came here to ask about finding servers, but I saw the thread titled "Do Not Ask Others To Find You A Tekkit Server" I went to the linked threads and after much searching found a server that, although way under populated, at least matched the criteria I had. Then it shut down after a couple of days. The lists on this forum are not searchable so if you are looking for something specific it takes ages to find anything. In addition to that servers that are no longer active are not necessarily updated on the thread, so even when you finally find one that you like it may not exist anymore. tekkitserverlist.com is also nice but you can only search for one tag at a time so if you are searching for multiple criteria it still means reading through a list tens or hundreds of pages long. I realise the reason for not being allowed to ask for servers in this forum is probably because it gets spammed with such requests and becomes unusable. What I would like is for someone to direct me to a place where I can find a server with the settings I am looking for or at least a place where I can ask others if they know of such a server. The server list threads are simply not a viable resource for what I need.
  2. I had the same error message but my log was different. I noticed however that one of the log files was 18 gigabytes and that seemed a bit off to me. I deleted that and ran it again, but got the same problem. Then I deleted all the logs (ForgeModLoader-client-0.log, 1.log 2.log) and ran it again and it worked. I don't know if this will work for anyone else but: 1:close tekkit and all windows and errors relating to it 2: go to the folder referred to in the error message and delete any files named ForgeModLoader-client-<number>.log 3: start techniclauncher. Hope this helps someone
  3. Ok that is comical, I can get redstone power to connect to the fabricator itself, turning it off. Although this solves my problem I would still like an answer to the question as I might need to use redstone signals with transformers and storage for other purposes.
  4. I thought it was a simple task, I want a lever that turns off the power to my mass fabricator. Not so simple. I tried setting the storage unit redstone behaviour to don't emit, but the cables wouldnt connect to it. I put a redstone cable next to a batbox or similar and it just lies parralel to it. The signal doesn't get through and the power never stops flowing. Next I tried a splitter cable and the same thing happened. What am I doing wrong? I tried powering the block above, and to the side.
