  1. I guess that would be fine since it would be included in my custom.zip modpack. Do you know of any good mod decompiling/compiling tutorials? I know some java, just not how to compile minecraft mods.

I had an idea that I could try rename one of the cards to try and avoid conflicts, probably ARS as its source code is provided in the mod, but I do not know how to compile a minecraft mod, I have never done it before. I believe you need a program called Minecraft Coder Pack. Would that work or is it worth a try?
  3. It's almost working, changing the ID's above 4095 made both cards appear (I was unaware that IDs under 4095 were counted as blocks ), however the ARS card works in the ARS core but the MFFS card still crashes the game when used on a capacitor.

Yep, both server and client IDs are being changed into free slots, I just changed the IDs to 650 and 651 (651 being MFFS) and ingame their was only one card, 907, which is the MFFS card, this card did not work in the ARS core, and when I tried to use it on a MFFS capacitor the game crashed.   5. I know, the IDs are very strange, what ever you change them to in either config file, one will always be 11371. I like the IC2 Tesla coils as well, but they lack customization.

Some of my players greatly prefer immibis' version because of its simplicity and the Tesla coils it adds (they are pretty cool), while some prefer thunderdark's version because of its advanced security features. If their is no way to get them to work together that would be fine, I'll just go with thunderdark's version.

I have a laptop with roughly the same spec, you need to go into the nvidia control panel, click "manage 3d settings" in the left of the window, switch to the "program settings" tab, click the "add" button next to the drop down box, browse to your java directory and select java.exe (or javaw.exe depending on what your computer uses), click "open" (or double click the java.exe), then in the "Select preferred graphics processor for this program" drop down box, select "high performance nvidia gpu". Click apply and you done.
  8. Hi, Basically I want too know if the Advanced Repulsion Systems mod and MFFS mod can work together somehow. Some of my players like Immibis' version while some like Thunderdark's version. The only problem I can see with them both working together is the blank mffs card. Changing the ID of the card in either mod does not seem too change the ID in-game, one will always have 11371 regardless whilst the other will have the ID you specified in the ARS config. Would changing the name of the card in one of the mods work? (MFFS card ARS <blank>, mffsitemcardblankARS) If anyone has any ideas I'd much appreciate them.
  9. Hello, I am putting together a custom modpack with tekkit lite as the base, however I have run into a problem and am hoping someone could help me out. One of the extra mods is ICBM, I changed the block id's so none and were conflicting and minecraft starts up fine, the problem is that the missiles or explosives do not damage players. They destroy the environment fine, they just wont damage players at all. (apart from the ones that spawn fire, ice, etc.) Any advice? Edit: After some experimentation, it appears that no explosions at all can hurt players - their isn't an option Ive missed somewhere is their?
  10. Hello, I am just curious with the new custom zips feature, if it would be possible to have a mod that checks the clients modpack.jar too make sure that it is original and not modified. Example: Mod generates MD5 of clients modpack.jar, sends to server, server validates and allows connection. I know that a server plugin is not possible, but I am unsure about an actual mod. Is it possible?
  11. Thanks, I'll start using that system to ban items, It's way better than what I'm currently doing. I was just modifying the EE_Props.txt file.
  12. I just figured it out. His Alchemy bags appeared to have nothing in them, but i just realised that every player has different bags. So i copied his bag_fred.dat file and renamed it to bag_lorus111.bat then opened the Alchemy bag to find that he had somehow obtained a black hole band. I probably missed it the first time i confiscated his duped stuff. Problamo solved!

  14. Nope, I don't even play as an OP, i just made myself one to Check up on him.
  15. I don't think so, ever since he duped items the first time I've been keeping an eye on him. He went from having almost nothing to safes full of RM, DM, Diamonds, Food, Iron Ore, Uranium, In a couple of hours. He even has two Enchanted bows with the exact same enchantment and damage.
  16. Could it be something to do with Personal Safes? He has a hell of a lot of those. He probably duped them.
  17. OK, so i looked through all of his stuff, (server is shut down for the night) and found that he has 4 alchemy bags, 2 white, 2 black. He does not have a void ring or black hole band as they are disabled, (I checked just to make sure) he doesn't have a gem of eternal density either. He does have a Soul Stone but AFAIK there is no dupe glitch involving them. Maybe I should disable Alchemy bags and see if that stops him? Thanks for the quick reply
  18. Hi People of Tekkit Forums, OK, so i have a small Tekkit server that me and all my friends join, but one of my friends (lets call him Fred) has been duping items. I've managed to stop him before but somehow hes started doing it again. I don't want to ban him, hes my friend, i just want to foil his evil duping. The Items i have already disabled are: Energy Condenser Transmutation Table + Tablet Black hole band Void ring RM Furnace Alchemy Chest Patched the CC disk drive I've done a few Internet searches for dupe glitches, but come up with nothing new. I know it Isn't anything to do with pistons as he has been duping things like food, RM, Phil stone, etc. Does anyone know of other dupe glitches that i haven't patched or have any ideas on how he is doing it? Fred must be stopped! Any help would be much appreciated. P.S. sorry if this is in the wrong section. Thanks
