never mind guys, figured out what i was doing wrong. customizing tekkit classic with a zip file works just fine. woot woot!

exactly. depends on what mods you plan on installing. some groups of mods have no conflicting block ID/item ID's whatsoever. some do. just depends on what the mod developer decided. Only real way to know if they conflict is to try it out.

I have been attempting to make this work, but every time it fails to load my mod, am i doing something wrong or is the technic custom zip functionality only working for tekkit lite?
