Did you open up the folder and compress the contents or did you just compress the whole file? it only works if you compress whats in the file and put it into the texture folder.

ok i finally got it to work right.i searched .zip in finder out of frustration and found some .zip files for painterly and smp revival. they are not technic compatible but ill try and find some that actually work. thanks for all the help

if i compress it i get a zip but when i put that into the texture pack folder it still just shows up as a black and white image of the default texture when i select texture packs in the game. :o

I'm trying to use the purebdcraft texture pack but i can't find the zip. can you recommend any others.thanks

how did you get it working? i also have the folder now but even after patching with mcpatcher for hd textures, it just shows up as black and white and won't work.

are there any other comparable texture packs? i got that one and got it to go in the right file, but its just black and white and doesn't work when i click on it in the tp part of the game.

the only texture pack file that comes up is the one for the actual minecraft.

where should the file be? i looked under all my docs and couldn't find it. the only thing that comes up is the physical launcher. :o

could you so some step by step stuff? when i search both of those i don't get any files with those names. it would be a huge help. thanks

can somebody tell me how to set up a texture pack? i know its comp addable with the technic pack. I'm on a mac by the way.
