Simply yes. But many of your blocks and item that are not in the new Tekkit will be missing. No redpower and no IC2 make for some very large world changes.

I'm interested in hosting a server with you but am very interested in the *NEW* Tekkit that is due out in 45 minutes. I'm located in West Coast US. Where are you located? What experience do you have with hosting? Are you interested in hosting the *NEW* Tekkit server?
