Thank you all for the helpful, albeit exasperated responses! I managed to get the texture pack into the folder, and it does read in the game now, however for some reason I can't select it... Anyway, the point is that I'm closer, so I'll fiddle around with it and hopefully I'll finally be saved from the horrors of vanilla. Anyway, thanks again! EDIT: BADABOOM! This does't work and it's not how textures are added to vanilla minecraft on macs either.

I've been trying to install the Pure BDCraft pack and I'm having the same problem. Also on a mac. With vanilla minecraft we mac users just drag minecraft into the texture pack folder, I've no idea what to do with the technic launcher, any help would be greatly appreciated.
